Hungarian Orientalist, Indologist
India has got values, veda and experience, that was generated through thousand years of the history. Starting from the upanishads the Indian civilization developed and made such a progress that put India amongst the firsts coubtries of the world.
There was a wrong policy of Hungary, when the policy makers have kept the only importance, the focus of the EU, joining to Brussels (sometime 2003-2004). All those were moved away from their posts who had been other views, proposed to keep contact with the East, were pro the East, Pro-India. The time had prooved that the joining to the EU was important for Hungary, but such a great cultures, and markets like the Asian couldn’t been left away.
Today the Asian countries have equalized the differences, now we cannot speak about the hegemony of the West. The West global directive is over. The East says very positively that it promotes the equality partnership policy in all kind of cooperations with the West.
Within the EU, due to the historical reasons, the Eastern European countries were all the time less developed. Today as these countries are more capable to develop their economies are the future motors of the EU.
Hungary had always been – as the Magyars are originazed from the East, Asia – interested in good relations with the Asian countries, with India.
I focus now on India and try to recommend some of the veda of India for the use as an experience recommended, within Hungary and the EU.
My Guru Elizabeth Brunner (1910-2001) (Padma Sri), eminent Indo-Hungarian painter was very important Teacher for me during my stay in India between 1992-1997. Elizabeth a simple and great person, with a great Soul always had been positive and had been giving good advises for me to solve any problems. She helped me to explore India. During her whole life she had seen, had wittnessed the Histor of India, the Great personalities of the country and the Indian people.
She had a great treasure the paintings of her mother Elizabeth Sass Brunner (1889—1950) and her own paintings. She had kept these paintings at her house in boxes only her Bahadur the Nepali helper could touch them and openned these boxes only when she considered that there was a time when people should see and learn from them.
Now I follow the same way and open and disclose my photographs and videos I had captured in India and make it available for all those who are interested.
The veda is being realeased, you just have to learn from it.
It is a great feeling for me. When I see my photograpks and videos, I more and more like India. I wish that you will have the same experience.
The unity of India is its diversity.
On such a way I have started to disclose my interview by eminent Indian Historian Writer Khushwant Singh, Indian Film Critic Amita Malik, Eminent Tamil writer Shiv Shankari.
Now I display and pay tribute for Kapila Vatsayanan, Eminent India Art Historian, who had summerized for me the main History of the past, present and the future of Indian Art. Of course as she had known very much and supported my Guru Elizabeth Brunner, and Elizabeth Sass Brunner I always keep her in my mind and heart. What she says in the interview is an evergreen teaching not only for the Hngarians and Europeans, but even for the Indian youngs.
As a disciple of Elizabeth Brunner I keep the tradition that the student has to continue and spread the teaching of the Guru.
